The SMS tool bar is missing.
Solution 1: Microsoft .Net Framework 3.5 Issue
Shut down Outlook
Download
this file & unzip it
Copy the ISS.Protector.dll file to the C:\Program Files\irwinSolutions\swiftNOTE
You will be asked to replace an existing file, click “OK” to replace it
Run the swiftNOTE.reg file, this will update the registry.
Open Outlook, swiftNOTE toolbar will appear.
Solution 2: Disabled by Outlook
Open
Outlook 2003
Click on the
Help
menu item
Click on the
About Microsoft Office Outlook
item
Click on the
Disabled Items
button
Check if
swiftNOTE
is in the disabled items list. If it is
select
it and click the
Enable
button.
Restart
Outlook
and the tool bar should re-appear.
Solution 3: .NET 2.0 conflict
Open
My Computer
Click on the
Control Panel
Click on the
Add or Remove Programs
icon.
Search for
Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0
, continue to the next step if it is found in the program list.
Download the
swiftNOTE for Outlook 2003 patch
Run the patch.
Restart
Outlook
and the tool bar should re-appear.
Solution 4: Registry problem
Click on the
Start
button.
Click on the
Run
item.
Type
regedit
into the
Open
textbox and click
OK
Browse the tree view to the directory path -
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\Outlook\Addins\swiftNOTE.Outlook2003Connector
In the right hand pane, double-click on the
Load Behaviour
item.
If the
value data
is not
3
, change it to
3
.
Restart
Outlook
and the tool bar should re-appear.
