Issues with Your Database?

One of the challenges a business faces is that the quality of the data in the database might be poor.

Common issues faced are mobile numbers and email addresses are placed in different fields, product/model codes are used instead of full product or model names and initials are used instead of full names etc.

These limitations can also be addressed during the set up of messageSMART 2.

Some examples include:

  • Using the MULTIPLE FIELD SEARCH function, we can locate the mobile number and or email address of the record regardless of which field it is located in;
  • We can format data in UPPER CASE into proper casing, and codes into full words (TO = Toyota); and
  • Where information is MISSING, we can use default values (eg. if first name is missing – insert Sir/Madam)

All the above can be done with minimal manual intervention.
